PickIt 3 (PICkit3) is an in-circuit debugger and programmer developed for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. It connects to a computer via USB and allows users to program, debug, and test embedded systems in real time using MPLAB IDE software.

This tool is commonly used in automotive applications like:

Digital meter repair (Minda meter, speedometer IC flashing)
Inverter PCB programming
ECU/cluster chip flashing (basic level)

It supports in-circuit serial programming (ICSP), meaning you can program chips directly on the board without removing them.
